The SmarTrack 5+ iMOB has been fully tested and approved to the Thatcham S5 standard. This advanced tracker and immobilisation system utilises GPS/GLONASS, GPRS, and GSM technology, with the added benefit of automatic immobilisation to provide enhanced vehicle protection. Immobilisation is activated each time the ignition is switched off and is only disarmed when the authorised Driver Detection card is present.
The internal battery backup ensures the device remains operational even if the vehicle’s main power supply is disconnected. Additionally, the system monitors battery voltage, ignition status, and verifies driver identity through its integrated recognition system.
